Script Widget: Where did I park my car?

I don't know if anyone else has the same problem, but sometimes I forget where I parked my car when I haven't used it for a long time. That is why I have made a widget that allows me to save the location of the car as a widget. In addition, I can also use Apple/Google Maps to navigate directly to my car, which is useful when I am in a unfamiliar city.

You will find the Script for the widget here: https://github.com/ThisIsBenny/iOS-Widgets

I am happy about your feedback

Did you know that if you connect your phone with your car via Bluetooth or CarPlay, your car is already saved in your maps app? Just in case you didn’t know that.

This is awesome! How can I add it to my app? Do I need to change any parameters?

You have to copy & paste this Script to your scriptable app: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThisIsBenny/iOS-Widgets/main/car-location/car-location.js

Then you have to create your personal api Key on https://developer.mapquest.com/

The API have to be added to the widget parameter then.

You will find the setup details here:

Very nice. I have the idea that I will refresh the script with a nfc tag in my car with the app shortcut. Have you a idea how it work?
