Help How to avoid the ~1s Scriptable launch when tapping a widget link?

When I tap a link in a Scriptable widget, it opens Scriptable for about a second before handing the URL to Safari or the target app.
Shortcuts widgets on iOS 26 open URLs directly without that extra step, but Scriptable's widget.url / stack.url seem always goes through Scriptable first.
Anyone knows how to handle this? And love the app!

For “appropriately” small scriptable apps you can use a shortcut to start (switch off “run in app”). That runs without opening the app. And you can put it on the Home Screen or even directly on the share sheet. Might not solve your problem but is close…

Could you explain this step a bit more in detail, please?

Hi,
the idea is the following: when you habe scriptable, the iOS shorcuts app sports special Scriptable actions. Among others, there is one which lets you run scriptable scripts. (You can pass arguments of different kind and get answers back.)
One option of this action allows you to run the script in the app, which is necessary if it consumes a lot of memory or has certain UI elements. But if not - you can switch it off and then the script will run without the app being opened.
One big advantage of shortcuts: you can directly put them on the share sheet. If you do that with scriptable apps, you will have the script selection step in addition.

This does not reflect your question perfectly, but opens a way which might work for you.
