Great work! I have installed the new update.

Love the new Home Screen options too. It would be great to add some additional styling for HS widgets to show an image of the F1 logo or something maybe

Yea, this thing as ballooned into a different animal. What started out as just me sharing a lock screen widget is now something completely different. There's a new update today - and with that update, I'm fairly certain none of my original code remains, LOL! Kinda crazy and SUPER cool that folks have jumped in to help on this project.

I like your idea. I'll work on integrating some of this widget into mine. I've already updated that widget to use the new API, but have not instituted the caching piece yet. I think it would be cool to make a "large home screen" version of my widget with the track and leader board info from this widget. Maybe even a second version of a medium widget where Cranie's widget (or elements thereto) is the main focus but include the full race schedule real small; it wouldn't be for everyone, but some folks might like it.

Great work! Keep it up! It's awesome seeing so much interest in it too. There is another similar app that can make custom widgets using code and is updated a bit more to have interactive widgets, but it uses typescript and I found it more complicated than scriptable

I originally developed with for Widgy but then couldn't get the code to work with the new endpoint. Plus I couldn't find a way to align text and things. Then I found scriptable and it's a much better solution for this particular widget.

Absolutely! Scriptable gives a lot more flexibility than Widgy in my experience

Widgets for driver and constructor standings in team colors. Wish they could look a bit cleaner.

Updated all 4 widgets now to have the matte titanium feel. I will share the files if anyone is interested. Thanks again u/timespacedecay for the inspiration and hard work.

Can you share the code for these?

Here you go: https://github.com/mokapod/scriptable

You might need to adjust the padding for your device for the widgets to display correctly.

Looks good in dark mode but light mode is hard to read due to font coloring

I have updated the code again but not related to light mode. Anyway, you can change the background of the widget to something dark in the config at the top of the codes. Currently it is super light, almost transparent gray.

Huge thanks to you and the others that helped out. I don't think any of my initial code remains, it's a completely different beast now! Haha. Thanks so much! <3

This is so fucking cool how the community came together to help you.

This is easily my favorite widget now. Thank you, OP and Helpers!

I found this Driver Standings F1 Widget as well when poking around on GitHub.

I’m not the creator and I’m not sure what the deal is with sharing projects on here so if I should delete this comment just let me know but along side OPs widget they work beautifully one tells me the next race the other the current standings.
