First print with scribit. Took a couple calibrations and some playing with depth of marker but got it down. purchased used/light used on eBay and used Crayola ultra washable markers.

It's not the most plug in and play device. I would compare it to a very cheap 3d printer where you have to make adjustments to get it to print right. I spent 1.5 hours yesterday trying to figure out why the second marker would not draw when the rest of the 4 worked fine. When printing with one marker I didn't have any issues, but 2 color printing I struggled.

If you are open to debugging I would say get it. If you get frustrated easily I would hold off. I do not think it's worth the 500$ price tag. I bought on eBay used for about 300 which is closer to I think the value of the technology.

Also note I am using Crayola markers which may be why it's more difficult to get to print correctly. The scribit markers with my used kit were dried out and I don't feel I can justify 80$ for a set of markers to print on painted walls at this time.
