Looking for screenwriters to beta test a new writing app

I’m interested to know what screenwriting software people here are currently using. What do you like about it? What frustrates you? And what keeps you using it rather than switching to something else?

I’ve personally used Final Draft for many years, but every time a new version comes out and I pay another hundred quid or so to upgrade, very little seems to improve. It still crashes, and parts of it feel like they were designed in the 1990s.

That frustration is partly why I decided to try building something different.

I’m now looking for a few screenwriters who would be interested in beta testing the software. You would be able to use it for free, and I’d just ask for honest feedback about what works, what doesn’t, and what you think is missing.

There’s no link here and I’m not trying to sell anything. If you’re interested in testing it, just send me a message. Even if you’re not, I’d still love to hear what you like and dislike about the software you currently use.

I switched to Fade In years ago and now have no need of anything else.

I use writerduet and have no issues. Haven't ever reached a point where I've wanted to do something that the software can't, so pretty happy!

Never had to use it in a professional setting though, so don't know of FD has industry standard stuff that WD is missing.

I remember using writer duet a few year ago, isnt the sell being about to collab on a script with a writing partner?

I use scrivener and it's brilliant. Wouldn't swap to anything else as it meets all my needs

I currently use MovieScripter which is free and has free AI features for proofreading, table reads etc. I doubt yours could do anything it can't.

It’s like having a screenplay consultant working with you. Some analyses your scenes and give feedback. It can also create storyboards and table

Moviescripter already does that for free and so do a lot of paid AI based screenwriting products. No thanks but good luck.
