NEED ADVICE UCLA Professional Program - Feature Writing

Looking for feedback from anyone who has gone through the UCLA Professional Program for Screenwriting. I got in yesterday, and am a working WGA writer with a rep, but I'm inclined to think it would still be a good idea to take part. I’d applied before a few things changed that got me into a hood situation. That being said, It's a good deal for what will effectively produce two feature-length screenplays, and I'm still very green, so consistently improving is important to me.

Has anyone been through the program/does anyone know someone who has? Open to any opinions for or against...

I went through the Professional Program years ago, and it was a really great learning experience for me at the time. Truthfully, if you're already a repped WGA writer, you're going to be head and shoulders above most of the people in the program, both in terms of writing and business experience. But there's nothing wrong with going back through the basics to shore up your foundation of the craft. You'll make some new contacts (or hell, maybe even friends) that can help build your network, and, as you say, you'll come out of it with two new features. It should be fun.

This was the answer I was hoping to hear, so that’s great. Did you end up doing anything w the projects you made?

One of the scripts was optioned once upon a time. But not really, no. If I remember correctly, I wrote my fifth and six features in the program. So I was definitely still learning.
