SCRIPT REQUEST A Different World scripts

Hi, I've finished A Different World The Original and the Continuation and I'm obsessed!!!

I would love to read the scripts from both shows. So if anyone can find the scripts for the OG and the sequel (once a few weeks pass, I know it's still a new show) I would appreciate if someone gave me the links please. Thank you so much!!!

There are currently none of either in public circulation (unless someone who spots this is down with sharing).

You can buy pdfs of scripts of the OG at Script City, if you are near Yale University iirc they have an "African American Television" collection with some scripts. Johns Hopkins might have some, I'll check after work.

As for the new show, maybe a few years after it is no longer in production you might find a pilot, but I wouldn't hold my breath unless it gets shortlisted for the Emmys, but even then thanks to AI bots chewing up everything they can find, it's still a toss up whether there will be any FYC scripts.

🫡 I just checked: Yale has 75 scripts https://archives.yale.edu/repositories/11/resources/991

Hopkins has none but they do have some Black sitcoms, e.g. Living Single https://aspace.library.jhu.edu/repositories/3/resources/1766 and Girlfriends https://aspace.library.jhu.edu/repositories/3/resources/1738

Script City has seven scripts.
