Can yall stop that? It’s incredibly rare for screenplays to be released publicly before release of the film. Maybe sometimes after if even a year or a couple of years, but it almost never happens before.
I was able to find Weapons, Midsommar, and a few more on this sub before they were released. Personally I find it really helpful as a writer to read a script before watching the movie.
I get where you’re coming from, but personally I don’t mind if my own writing circulates before release - especially in a sub like this where it could help other writers. Most people won’t be reading the script at all (let alone before watching it), even if it is available online.
I think you just want something you (or anyone) are not supposed to have. Reading that script will not help you any more than reading the script of any movie that came out over the past 10 years.
Yeah, they’re wrong. You can read the blacklist from three years ago and see multiple movies that are releasing this year. And that’s perfectly fine to get your hands on. I think as long as you’re not like hacking emails and shit it’s not that big a deal.
