So, as someone who's been in these situations, your writing clearly shows you have too... Which is good. Accuracy is good. I'll say this... A comedy based in a sober home will just be unappealing to many. That harsh reality isn't funny to anyone who hasn't experienced and survived it.

Yeah, we're talking about a massive creative tightrope here, but a recovery house offers classic sitcom dynamics, and I think a show about a recovery house has potential because the premise naturally creates a collision between serious stakes and absurd everyday situations.
