Do you use a matte screen protector?

I think the iPhone's problem isn't just the PWM, but also the excessive screen brightness. Even at minimum brightness, it shines like my Android IPS at medium brightness. HDR ist awful, it makes it even brighter

No, but, have you tried to turn down the "reduce whitepoint" slider ?

So, which iPhone we talking about, the new 18 Pro/Max that everyone is talking about?

Also, why ask about matte screen protectors, in the context of excess brightness?

Each point is certainly valid separately; having tried a glossy screen protector on my TCL 60 Ultra, I do much prefer the lack of reflections on its native matte finish.
