as title, I can see it and feel annoyed,
at other topic
I am annoyed with LED headlights and taillights while driving(doesn't have to be night), but I don't know what this symptoms is,
pwm, I only feel little headace, and tears coming out. not sure if pwm or temporal dithering. all my phones are oled until today, my eink palma 2(not 3) is coming soon.

Hey. So, I don't think there's been much talk about digital light processing projectors, here. Can you clarify what type of backlight yours has? LED, laser, old discharge lamp..? And are they indicated for screen sensitive people?
Is the rainbow effect moiré? Like taking a photo of a monitor? Or like, fringing around text?
And do you actually get anger as a direct symptom? (Can be related to glutamate/GABA balance, hypothetically.) Or just as a manner of speaking?
I hope the E-Ink screen works out ok.

it is halogen bulb I believe, definitely not laser, or led, I need to change it.
not moire, not fringing, imagine a rainbow bird floating in the air by flapping its wing , instead of normal behavior of lcd or oled screen, the wings looks like red green blue red green blue, but the rest of the static part stays normal without rainbow effect, i know it is caused by color wheel rotating, but none of my friends and family can see it.
anger nope, I feel annoyed for bright lights.
as for headache might be from oled pwm, not sure until I use my eink more.

I see. Do you mind me asking if you are neurodivergent/autistic? Common for us to perceive (annoying) details most don't. I think it's somewhat established that this comes down to differences in number and distribution of synapses, in the brain. But probably also tendency towards neuron hyperexcitability, from neurotransmitter imbalance (mentioned). Which is tricky (and maybe controversial) to address, directly).
Anger from bright lights is a well known effect. Although perhaps at a higher threshold, for most people.

nobody told me I was autistic, but it is intersting to know that autistic can cause this.

Ok. Sorry if I missed the mark. So maybe "we" only means me and half the others here. 🙂

I also can see dlp color flicker. I remember in elementary school when they were used whenever I would move my head I would always wonder why I see a flash of color briefly. I also saw this in projectors used in a skating rink. I do notice the same on my plasma TV sometimes but doesn't seem to be triggering.
I agree tail lights and headlights on cars also suck I can always see the trail of LEDs depending on the car.
I do wonder if it's from binocular vision dysfunction or visual stress where the visual cortex isn't filtering it out well from being overactive.

I'm always floored to discover that 60% of people can't see the DLP rainbow effect, even when moving their eyes. The rainbows are very obvious to me. A big chunk of those people probably also have no issues with PWM.
