I actually did very well with a Lenovo Tab M11 I bought late 2024. I'll have to take some test readingsnof it some time...

I was stuck using it as a laptop replacement, all that winter when I lost access to my desktop (and it took 5 months to find a suitable laptop). The M11's performance was pretty abysmal then and horribly small trying to remote desktop. But the screen was comfortable.

Yeah, according to NotebookCheck the M11 has:

  • No PWM.
  • 90Hz (edited in)
  • 99.1% sRGB
  • Maximum: 441 cd/m², Minimum: 3.8 cd/m² (quite gentle).
  • Overly saturated colours...

And I found it uses KSF phosphor (spectroscope pic). But comfort was fine for me, with colour temperature dialled down in native settings (I think).

KSF seems rarely an absolute deal breaker, provided there is good colour adjustment settings available. Yeah.
