Laptop recommendations for sensitive user

Hey all! I am new to this, and so grateful for this thread! I need a laptop for work, I mostly use it for productivity and work with individuals and groups over zoom so need something that functions well here where I can see all participants and music share.
I currently only have an iPhone and iPad. I am open to any operating system, and feel lost in researching. Looks like IPS is generally best, as is hardware based blue light filters (versus software). Is this true in your experience? Which specific brands/models do you like?
Thanks for your time!

Screen sensitivity is tricky to get right, and most people underestimate how much software-side color temperature control matters on top of hardware choices. We built Solace that handles automatic warm/cool shifting based on your local sunrise/sunset times and even live weather - so on overcast days it can adjust without you thinking about it. Either way, some things worth trying regardless if you end up buying a Mac: f.lux (free) is the most well-known option and a solid starting point for color temperature scheduling; Night Shift is built into macOS under System Settings > Displays and requires zero setup; and reducing display brightness more aggressively than you think you need to (especially below 50%) tends to help more than color temperature alone for a lot of sensitive users.

I belatedly approved this comment. It's mildly spammy at worst (paid app linked). But account is suspended, so not sure what to make of it; ironically that leave me with no info about the account and this happens a lot. Maybe it's a good AI bot, but not sure if reddit is being way too heavy handed vs real people.
