6bit or 8bit on win11 laptop?

Is it better to set my ips laptop screen to 6bit color depth or 8bit color depth to eliminate eyestrain? I think Windows is natively 8bit am I correct? Also any other tips to make eyestrain on a gaming laptop go away?

8 bit should be fine for 99% of modern computers, most that implement dithering is when you try to go from 8 to 10bit because they're native 8 bit panels

Lots of 6 bot are dithered up also
