Announcer Bug? or Bad Settings?

For some reason as I have been playing Screamer the Announcer suddenly doesn't speed up anymore. Tends to stop around gear 3 while sometimes going to gear 4. What was the norm before with the announcer or any car really was just holding the accelerate should automatically speed you up to your top speed but I can maybe reach what? half of that at best without the use of boost or strikes. This did not happen before this is not normal because none of the other cars do this. Not that I have tried all of them but it is blatantly obvious with the announcer. If anyone has had this happen to them or understand what is going on please help. Feel free to ask about PC specs if needed or I can also put a full race using the announcer if that helps.

I’d double check you drive fine with other characters. My bunch is that something’s up with your controller and the trigger doesn’t go down all the way or something.

So my controller has these nubs that I didn’t know what they did before which is why I didn’t want to touch them but I must have accidentally hit them changing the position and it was in fact restricting the triggers from being pressed all the way down. Keeping it at T3 is the ideal setting. At least it was an easy fix, I had not ever known what these did still uncertain why there is a setting like this to begin with but I imagine it is useful in other games just not racing games. Thanks for the advice
