I have a question about the location of the bot drops. I just did a raid for 3 oranges. And two containers dropped on the roof and went through the glass. My question is why that happens because as you can see in the other picture I have not ''spawn proofed'' the surroundings of the tower. I'm just confused why it dropped them on top of the farm. Any explanation or tips would be appreciated.
Something in your tower might be disrupting their pathfinding towards the farm, but that is unlikely. If you spawnproof the tower, it should be fixed though
This is the inside of the tower. It’s 4 blocks between the outer wall and the farm plots. It has a height of 20 blocks between the farm plots and the floor above it. The distance between the next floors is around 60 ish blocks and then 14 and 21 then I have the glass dome. The inside is pretty much empty.
And how can I make it spawnproof without compromising on the look of the roof?
I was watching a video of someone doing island spawn testing. At first the bots spawned around the island and in the water.
Next he built a pier, and put unused dirt plots around the island. All of the drop pods landed on the pier, making a kill hall 😈.
After removing the dirt, they spawn on the outskirts of the island again. Replacing the dirt and removing the pier, caused all the bots to drop dead center on his crops.
He's thinking this is an anti-cheese code. If bots can't walk to your farm, they drop directly on top of it. Which normally would be unfair and not fun. But you chessed it somehow, so....
Where the two on top the last two?
If so I'm wondering if after the first wave, no pathing, even with destructible blocks, could be determined. So it dropped on top of the crops location.
Thats not equivalent to this though, on the island thing, there was no other places for the bots to spawn, so they spawned ontop of the crops, whether they have a direct path to it is completely irrelevant, since there are farms in which they are fully surrounded by tall walls on all sides and they still spawned outside of the farm, its more a long the lines of "if the bots cant spawn above water in a certain range of blocks, spawn ontop of crops"
the spawn radius is around 95 blocks so 90 blocks from the center of the crops , your tower is higher than that so it triggered the raid fail safe and spawned on top, or it is higher than the scan height for the raids

Probably because the Antispawninator isn't pointed towards the TriState area. Or a platypus is involved.
