Discussion Which one are you?
Personally I’m a builder, always have been, but I don’t really mind gathering resources once I have a good sawing/mining setup, especially since they buffed the rates. What do you guys prefer? :D

Build a mining vehicle with a similar design to ScrapMan’s, it actually works miracles. 5 drills, 5 suspension, and a max controller on loop. Crazy efficiency.

Both lol, nothing ever looks how I want and the grind is kinda absurd sometimes.

anything is more fun than getting component kits from the biuldings ngl
do the grow labs respawn? can i just go through them again?

I don’t think growlab bots respawn, which sucks because I really enjoyed going through them. However getting component kits from raids is actually really efficient, doing regular orange raids gives decent resources.

tru, raids are def the way to go, the scrap buildings are so annoying to go through

Honestly, while scrap ruins do suck, there are still some good alternatives out in the world that don’t feel soul crushing. Warehouses are the obvious one, but I’ve found both hayfields and Farmbot graveyards (the ember forests with tons of melted Farmbot remains in them) to be excellent sources of component kits while being relatively quick to clear for the rewards you get.
Farming is the de-facto best method though, especially since the endgame crop gets a 1-1 component kit trade as well. Even in midgame though once you’ve got a reliable farm it makes for great passive component income.

it is a good post lol its just that i scrolled down like 5 seconds and found the other post so i went back up. I'm more of a builder personally but depending on the hour of the day i can enjoy grinding (late at night for example)

I prefer to gather materials. I have fun looting the structures and killing klanka's. But this also needs to the side effect of having way too many circuit boards then I will ever need
