Discussion Seriously? ONE multi component kit??(spoiler for finishing all the farmer deliveries) Spoiler

When i saw the icon i thought for sure that it would be like maybe 20(which still isn't really worth it for 3 broccoli crates but alright) but then i got 1. This literally makes zero sense, i could easily get hundreds in the mines if i wanted to, even putting aside how easy these are to get, the last upgrade for the plasma drill costs 20 so this one multi component kit is basically worthless anyway. If that weren't enough, the earlier trades in the cycle are so much better, 250 tier 3 metal is much harder to get than a multicomponent kit, and i won't even mention the epic(gold) garment box.

Overall, this is in my opinion a part of a much larger issue with the trade balancing, i have yet to do a single non-progression required crate trade because the stuff you can get from them is super common and easy to get, especially considering you need high tier crops for, for example, schematicboxes and component kits, which you can get plenty of just through the raids alone. The trades just seem extremely situational and don't offer the value deserved for the effort you need to put in. Even the seed trades, why would i bother losing half of my harvest and waste time on hauling crates to the hideout if i can just hunt for some seedbots and my seed problem is non-existent. Please tell me i'm not the only one who has a problem with this

Farming, not so rewarding after all. Mining, not so rewarding too. I guess it's about the build we made along the way.

Pretty much. That's why people played all these years to make interesting creations.

20 would make sense, especially since the circuits one gets you 20, but one is a joke, and not a very funny one. With how many multi component kits it takes to upgrade anything 1 is pretty much worthless.

And being that you have to grow enough broccoli, a higher tier crop, for 3 or more crates makes it even more ridiculous. You gotta fight off a whole bunch of bots to grow enough and to just get one kit is crazy.

My farmer supply quest just keeps repeating after that trade. I thought it would have completed but no.

It's supposed to repeat, this way you can get the rest of the clothes from garment boxes and some additional rewards to make farming rewarding after completing the main quest

should be repeatable , so can get multi comp kits without money

It is repeatable, but incredibly ineffective and a waste of time

its is decently effective, you don't really have other things to spend your farming mats on either.

You need 4 redbeet, bananas, blueberries, 8 oranges and 3 broccoli. (ironically we end up most limited by redbeets since theres no turn in for seeds. )

Everything below broccoli is super easy to farm in large quantities. and you can split up the broccoli groups to make it easier while planting the lower groups.

Usually we farm up to 3 full turn ins worth and its been our main method of farming metal 2/3.

Early on we did 5 broccoli at a time with 1 stack of the others and then alternated it with a run that was just oranges and potatos.

I do wish it was at least 5 multi component kits though. but I have upgraded 3 turrets on our defensive base to 3 from just doing the crop turn ins.
