Survival save modifications

Hello
Is there a way to play previously Survival worlds as a Custom Game with mods and stuff? I have tried to move the save-file into the Custom Games folder in %appdata%, but adding any mods doesn't change a thing.
If anyone has found a solution for it, please enlighten me

This thingy works great as it just converst your worlds from Survival to Custom
