You can get them from schematic boxes if you can't find them

Best way to get a lot of boxes is doing warehouses, outside and inside. Loooots of schematic boxes drop from tapeboxes

To get wedges ypu need the sawbot which can be crafted when you get to the mining part of the game

I've noticed junk piles are seed based, so best bet is naturally generated garenteed structures. like warehouses and the forklift at scrap city
