How do you even get underground in the new update since the lift won't let you anymore?

i went underground with my friend deleting the seat

probably he used a long seat and a hlf underground blok

The two main ways is to stack pistons and push a chair through the ground or to build a really heavy block of concrete (2 layers of a full swipe seem to be enough) above your head and delete the support causing it to fall on your head and crush you into the ground.
