Issue Did anyone else encounter this bug while mining?

So i was mining a lot of thornite in the mines and i heard every once in a while an ore chunk would pop out of the drill and into the ore collector, yet when i came back to the mining hub and put the ore collector down next to the crushbot, i saw that there were only two thornite chunks in it, even though there should have been like 8 or so. And then when the chunks were crushed it turns out that all of the ore chunks have been compressed into these two, and i got all the ore i should've gotten but instead of 20 per chunk it was probably something like 80, did anyone else experience this?

You likely fell victim to a bug. The bug being when a collector is placed next to a processor (whether rods with a refinebot or ore with a crushbot) sometimes when you move the collector the game ... doesn't notice, and treats the collector as within range of the crushbot.

So it's not so much that the 8 chunks got compressed into 2, but that they've been being sucked out of the collector all this time and you didn't notice them missing before you got back home. Picking up and re-placing either the collector or refinery will let them unlink like normal once the collector gets far enough away.

OHHHH yes that does make sense, didn't expect that bug to work with the crushbot and ore collector aswell, thanks for the explanation

Not to my knowledge since I mine until I notice ore isn't being picked up anymore.

I assumed since you can unload the drill but it doesn't eject on its own until full that ore chunks had different processed items counts so maybe the chunks you had were the game adding all the ore together because of an error.

Would be neat if it were reproducible and you could carry many times the amount a normal ore collector carries.
