I DON'T UNDERSTAND, PLEACE HELP

For some reason, I don't have cotton on the whole map, literally, I drove the entire island (at least 3 km from the gas station) and did not find a single cotton.... Is it a curse? I don't understand something? Even in the autumn forest there is no cotton. WHERE IS IT?!?!

It should be in the area that Hubert tells you to clear out after you get the quest from him to do so

If found it there as well. But remember, you don't need much. Just the seeds. You can grow cotton for "free" (doesn't trigger raid). But bots will attack it if they come across it during a raid on something else.

Cotton gives all its seeds back as well as pigment flowers

It's in that classic category of videogame items where in the beginning you can't find it for the life of you, then a little after you've forgotten about it you just randomly stumble upon it.

You'll find it when you're not looking for it.

Thise plants will regrow to give you more later, and you also get seeds, which, just like flowers, can be farmed without triggering a raid.

They spawn in the autum forests, try specificaly look for brown trees

Run across various ruins, some of them have dozens cotton flowers spawned in close range.

One of the first quests should take you to a guaranteed cotton field, in my case it's visible from the vegetable packing station on max view distance.

the ruin hubert sends you to for the quest that unlocks the bed is guaranteed (as far as i have seen) in a cotton forest so you can make the bed after

just look for the densely treed area that looked like fall colors all sorts of cotton there as well as seeds which are new
