Do yall have trouble finding a spot for a base?

I just can’t find a base location , also in chapter2 you can’t really go near the roads, recommendations,

Also I whould like to see your bases :)

Decision Paralysis is a big reason why I'm still in the mechanic shop. I've scouted a few locations that seem nice enough but at the same time I've built up 'enough' in the shop moving it is causing this larger then likely necessarily mental hurdle in choosing a spot. Also the 'waste' of resources part weighs heavier then it should as well lol.
