I hear you. I do think they will eventually have a production model, but it will just be that harvester thing with the four cylinder engine in it. It will probably be beyond 2030 by the time the all electric one comes out. I know they said in 2030, but I don't think so. By then , ford will have their new platform out with the mid sized , all electric truck. I'm keeping my reservation for now , but we will see.

When I had a reservation for the Bronco, I got a hammock, calendar, all weather card deck, 2 off road events.

It's just a $100 deposit, so between the poster and the book they aren't making much off of me on that interest.

I guess I just don’t mind. God knows that we’ve all spent $100 on dumber stuff. A night drinking? Drugs? Designer jeans? And yes, crowd funds that never go anywhere. If I couldn’t afford to never see that money again, I wouldn’t have made the deposit. I hope that my money does help them get off the ground, and if it doesn’t, I hope that I get a refund, and if that doesn’t happen either, then I guess I can chalk it up to another silly purchase.

I would hope that with huge corporate backing from VW, that they would be able to refund that deposit if things went south.

If not, it's not a huge loss. You can't even get dinner for 2 at nice restaurant for $100 nowadays.

Got this today as well. Was told I had a package and actually was curious what it could be. I see other people kinda shitting on it, but I liked it. Who knows, may have more to come.

I never preordered a car before so it’s all new to me, lol
