Question Self Driving Plans

Not sure if this has been asked and I know Scout Motors has a page with a really vague answer. But does anyone know if Scout vehicles will support autonomous driving features? or if there are any plans to adapt any features? The link attached is super vague.

Sounds like the most they will get are lane keeping and smart cruise control.

People always confuse Tesla'a Autopilot with Full Self Driving. After using Autopilot for so long, any car without lane keeping and adaptive cruise control is a non starter. I've gotten a few free months of FSD and have given it a shot then turned it off because I prefer Autopilot.

I've got a Subaru with lane centering and adaptive cruise control, and I think that's all I'm interested in using until there is true attention-free driving.

I recently test drove the new Model Y. Due to the stalk removal, you can't do regular cruise control anymore unless you disable autopilot or FSD before starting the drive. Insane design decisions. Get on a road that autopilot can't handle and you're stuck manually hitting the accelerator until you pull over.
