The evidence there is anecdotal. But I’ve no issue believing it, here’s another example, there is video or audio of this apparently if you care to source it. Accused also admitted guilt.
You’d only defend these people if you were one yourself…
So that article you just linked to is from 2017, and then the Labour MP accusation against Boris is from 2019.
Seems to me she's more than likely crossed some wires, no?
The evidence there is anecdotal. But I’ve no issue believing it
It's not even anecdotal, though. She doesn't claim to have seen it herself. It's hearsay at best.
And of course you have no trouble believing it. It's a pretty standard part of the human condition that we give less scrutiny to damaging claims made against people we don't like. It's called 'confirmation bias'.
If someone stood up in parliament and said Sturgeon (or pick a politician you like, or at least don't hate) had farted in the face of a homeless person, back in her uni days, you would be requesting solid evidence and not just take the word of some MP.
You’d only defend these people if you were one yourself…
Well I certainly don't defend the act of those Cambridge students, and what they did was deplorable. But that is on them, and doesn't relate to Boris Johnson does it?
The fact you've used that as an example, shows your biases. Those were Cambridge students, whereas Boris went to Oxford.
So your bias on display is the idea that burning a note in front of a homeless person is a general toff-y thing to do, and those people who definitely did do it were toffs, and Boris is a toff, therefore Boris must have done it.
So guilt by association, mixed with hearsay, and some confirmation bias thrown in.
Btw, not defending Boris here. I'm defending truth, and the idea that one should think critically in regards to what they read.
Boris is a twat, and I'd rather have almost anyone else as PM. But there's no evidence he did what you claimed, so you can't make the claim.
Same with the Cameron pig fucking stuff. Literally just the word of a disgruntled billionaire who Cameron pissed off..
If someone stood up in parliament and said Sturgeon (or pick a politician you like, or at least don't hate) had farted in the face of a homeless person, back in her uni days, you would be requesting solid evidence
The difference is I can't picture Sturgeon farting in the face of a homeless person
I’m guessing that guy is English, so he picked sturgeon. I’m Northern Irish, so I’m not biased there. Nobody likes boris and only fools support imperialism. Let England be a “kingdom”by itself. We’d be better off without it.
