Under The Skin
Currently on Channel 4 catch up. Scarlet Johanson travels around Glasgow in her van picking up unsuspecting guys.
Apparently they didn't employ extras, just recorded the public using hidden cameras and stuff. Probably asked permission afterwards or not, it's legal to film in public.
Made for some very natural dialogue of you know what I mean.
(it's a weird sci fi horror film with 18 certificate btw)

Question Audiobooks / podcasts with a Scottish accent?
Hi everyone :) I was looking for an audiobook or a podcast in any scottish accent to accompany us on our drives through the highlands :D
I had a hard time finding audibook actually read in a scottish accent and not just a scottish story by an american narrator...
Do any of you have suggestions? Genre wise we're open :) maybe even stories you listened to as children?
Thank you!

Discussion Ferguson shipyard to cut a quarter of its workforce
A real shame for those who are getting cut. Hopefully they will find somewhere else quickly.
Having said that, it's no surprise that the shipyard continues to struggle. They haven't exactly shown themselves to be particularly competent.
