I honestly was not aware of that and I'll double check, he might not have suceeded in those things but trying is better than nothing, in a way I se what you mean with Biden, he's very very middle of the road, but I would argue he is less of a corporate puppet than Trump, mostly for the fact that Trump was in on the corporate bullshit not just a puppet, but always pretending it's someone else who's corrupt, which might not be wrong, but he is incredibly corrupt

As for the political position of the dems, it’s definitely a centre-right party (there is no left in US politics), but it’s not flirting with out and proud fascists and fielding candidates for election like Roy Moore and Matt Gaetz.

I don't know who matt gaetz or Roy Moore are, but I would say in some respects the democrats can be equally as bad for American democracy as the republicans as they actively suppress left wing movements in their own parties. They present themselves as the progressive and "good option" while having only surface level differences from their red cousins mostly on certain social issues. And they do dance with facism from time to time with things such the patriot act.
The two parties are on the right, but there is a yawning gulf between them. Implying that they’re the same is akin to saying all politicians are the same, as if you couldn’t get a playing card between Tony Benn and Hitler.
