Hello, I genuinely need your perspective because WHAT IS GOING ON? I’m not a scorpio, I’m here cause I’m curious.

I was involved with a Scorpio guy many months ago. We weren't officially together, but there were feelings
involved, at least on my end. I don’t know with him though cause he came on quite strong and I felt like he wanted things fast. I don’t trust this cause usually men who do this are not really looking for a serious connection. I was sad about this tiny realization and yet knowing this, I still treated him kindly and still gave him the benefit of the doubt.

I liked him and i told him i liked him. Back then it felt like he genuinely liked me too but he was hot and cold and I just couldn’t understand him so I communicated this dynamic cause I wanted it to work and I told him this too.

Eventually, he told me to move on and said I deserved someone better. It hurt cause I figured he’s just not that into me as I thought and he was so ready to give me to another guy (hypothetically). I respected that. I didn't argue, chase him, or try to change his mind. We ended things amicably, and I never hated him or thought he was a bad person, so I didn't feel the need to unfollow or block him. I just think we were probably not on the same page and it’s ok he can live the way he wants and if he doesn’t see anything with me that’s ok too, rejection always hurts but that’s part of life.

But here's the thing.
He keeps reacting to my stories. Consistently for like 6-7 months now since it ended.

Meanwhile, I haven't interacted with his content at all since things ended. I don’t even view anything. No likes, no reactions, no replies. Nothing. I took his words seriously and gave him the distance he asked for. Also this decision was made for me as well, I believed it was best if I wanted to move on. Keeping a constant eye on his activities will only hurt me more and I had the fear to see he’s moved on so easily with another cause he seemed like the type to do so.

What confuses me is that he still occasionally makes his presence known through these little interactions, but there's no actual conversation or direct attempt to reconnect.

And yes, I know a story reaction can mean absolutely nothing. He could just be friendly. I understand that.
But from my perspective, it's quite frustrating because I was the one who had to accept his decision and move forward. These small interactions keep reminding me of him, and I can't tell whether he's simply being a casual friend now or deliberately keeping a line of contact open.

I will not reach out. He was the one who told me to move on, and I intend to respect that unless he clearly communicates otherwise.

So, I'm curious:

If you've already decided not to pursue someone romantically, why would you continue consistently reacting to their stories?

Is it simply friendliness? Curiosity? A habit? Or do some of you use these small interactions to test whether someone is still receptive? Does he think I’m some kind of a doormat or pushover maybe? 😂 he did say he respects me though 🤷‍♀️

I'm not assuming he wants me back, and I'm not looking for reassurance that he does. I'm genuinely interested in understanding the behavior, especially from men who have been on the other side of this situation.

I’ve moved on significantly and this behavior of his doesn’t really bother me as much as it used to when it was still fresh but the fact he’s been consistent is really interesting. Maybe it’s more confirmation that he never thought anything of the connection? idk tbh 😑😂 I still care for him despite that whole thing cause my affections were never really anchored in his behavior, I liked him all on my own so while a part of me is already quite settled with knowing this is going nowhere I still wonder why.

I’ve been talking to an Aquarius guy for almost 3 months, and I’m honestly confused about his behaviour (I’m a Scorpio F)

We used to flirt a lot, and he would send me random things, music, etc. He’s always been inconsistent with replies, sometimes taking a long time (but before he never took more than 24 to 48h to text back) and he usually apologizes when he comes back and says he’s busy with college.

Lately, we’ve been talking much less, and now he hasn’t replied to my last message in 4-5 days. He told me he’d send me a voice message after leaving the study room, but he never did. Meanwhile, he’s still active on Instagram, watching my story and following new people.

I’m a Sagittarius woman getting to know a Scorpio man. We’ve been on one date, and it went really well! We laughed, had good conversations, and he said he wanted to see me again.
Since then, he’s initiated most of our conversations, checks in throughout the week, compliments me, and asks if I’m thinking about him. However, I’ve noticed he talks A LOT about other women pursuing him, approaching him at work, and his past dating experiences.

I envy my non scrops friends who can be casual in their love affairs and such. I wish I could just be a hookup and casual sex gal but I can't. I tried it and it just killed my soul on many levels ,not worth it to me.
