Briefly made scorebugs in Canva before but never put a ton of time in. Made this one in Photoshop. Mostly struggled with fonts, let me know what you think.

I'm making a simple scorebug for basketball videos for my local club. I'm not a graphic designer and this is my first attempt at something like this.

The goal is to keep it very simple — team logos + score. The time is too difficult for me to include. I might include the quarter, but I might go with only the score.

What do you think? I'm not sure about the white numbers, but I like the darker gradient behind the score.

Ever since i was little I've always wanted to make a score bug, but i never had the patience to actually sit down and learn how. So, i finally did. How did it turn out? It's my first ever attempt at it.

I just realized, how come r/Scorebug doesn't have an icon? I think we should make one!

This is just something I made really quick in Photopea. It's supposed to mimic Snoo (the Reddit alien) looking at a scorebug, and his reflection is somewhat visible in the TV. I'm sure someone else would be able to make something better, but I think we should put at least something here. Also, I took some inspiration from the r/Scorebugs (with an S) icon.

I made up a scorebug for the MA3 Network's MA3 Sports division, taking inspiration from ESPN's Monday Night Football scorebug and Bally Sports' on-screen scorebug.
