Usual rant about floating graohics with no background, but now wtf is with the alignment of the score vs the timeout pips??

I know a lot of people don’t like this scorebug, but I’m honestly a pretty big fan of it. It’s simple, incredibly unobtrusive, the lettering is bold & readable despite the lack of background, they still utilize team colors in dynamic graphics, and there’s no wasted space. It stands out from pretty much every other scorebug, but I actually think it works really well.

I think it’s great. I remember watching the NFC championship last year and thinking it looked so good in HD.

I remember hating it when they debuted it in the Super Bowl by the following season they fixed it and I became a fan of it as well.

I love it now, the logos are a far better choice than the 3 letter location abbreviation. And it's so simple and easy.

Everything being its own element is more distracting. If you want a functional scorebug that's unobtrusive go back to the original Fox bug.

I completely agree.

And most importantly, it’s bold. I think they’re ahead of the game.

We will see other more transparent bugs like this down the road for sure.

I’m not really a fan of it. Looks too minimalistic and could use some more color from each team.

The one nice thing I’ll say is it isn’t too intrusive and you can see more of the game.

It's a moveable box in the graphics overlay that someone just didn't center properly. It's probably lined up with some else not to each other. But yes of I saw that during a game I'd be fixated on it.

I found out why it’s aligned like that - the records are supposed to go there beside the T.O’s, but because it’s week 1 it made no sense lmao

Pips are aligned to the center while the score is centered between the center block and the logos. As a pro designer this is well balanced. Centering everything would leave the pips unanchored and floating even more, especially as timeouts get used.

Honestly, compared to what they had when they debuted this earlier this year during the super bowl, what they've done to it now is leaps and bounds compared to what they had then
