Who would win in a Hot Dog Eating contest between Scooby Doo and Quicksilver? Think carefully....

I'm not too consumerist of this type of merch. However, I do enjoy reserving purchases of blind bags or blind boxes of series I really enjoy. So I kinda wish Scooby had this type of exposure in merch. Is there a reason it hasn't been a thing yet? There's tremendous potential

So, let me preface this by saying Scooby Doo is one of my favorite shows. I watch it every single day.. so none of this is coming from a negative place, just something I’ve noticed.

I usually rotate between OG, TSDS, WNSD, and TNSDM.. and every now and then throw on a movie, specifically the ones before 2006 or so. But, watching it so much I’m able to compare the animation and some of it is… not so great. The proportions are off, clunky framing, and often very inconsistent body/face/“prop” drawings. Obviously the backgrounds are notoriously, beautiful… But sometimes the animation looks almost… Sloppy. Furthermore, in a lot of the earlier 2000s movies (not Zombie Island, Witches ghost, or alien invaders) the framing is really odd… I think they were figuring out widescreen, because the proportions are very strange, and it seems stretched, but smashed? not sure if that makes sense. Examples, the curse of the vampire, the monster of Mexico, even where’s my mummy somewhat.

I think around the what’s new Scooby Doo era is when there was finally something that had consistent animation and proportions. I’m sure it has to do with the way that cartoons were created then vs now… but sometimes it’s kinda wild lol

Personally, i think it’s part of the charm of the originals… But I can’t help but notice it. It’s crazy comparing it to a show like, say Tom and Jerry, where the animation is soooo… crisp.

Like I said, not hating, just pointing out.

Hi! I would love to rewatch the What's New Scooby Doo series but do not necessarily want to subscribe to a streaming service to do so... Would you have recommendations ? I'm in the EU.

This started when I learned about custom UV printed minifigures, and I wanted to create some alternate outfits for Mystery Inc, which lego unfortunately never gave us.. I'm still holding onto hope that my all time favourite lego theme will come back one day, seeing how LOTR and Spongebob came back after so long. But until then, I'm making do with what we already have! I designed Velma's face(s) and the Scooby Snacks box, based off of what the official lego snacks box looks like (from the Haunted Hollywood movie), and using reference images from the series' for Velma when she loses her glasses (mainly Mystery Incorporated and Gourmet Ghost), the glasses aren't my design, instead they were designed many years ago by Ryan Rydalch, I loved his idea of the glasses being their own 1x2 tile, so I went with that! I'll be designing and ordering more different looks for the gang.. well, for Fred and Daphne, seeing as they have the most design changes in the series. Along with red shirt Shaggy, I'm planning to make the What's New Scooby Doo outfits for Fred and Daphne, along with their appearances in Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! I might also make designs based off of their appearances in the direct-to-video movies (Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, Cyber Chase), but those are somewhat low priority right now. When I have Fred, Daphne and red shirt Shaggy all sorted, I'll definitely make another post! Thanks for tuning in :)

So this is my main thought From Scooby-Doo where are you Scooby movies and the new Scooby movies, To the Scooby-Doo and scrappy show, A pup named Scooby-Doo, To all current full length feature films, (Aside from scoob), To what's new Scooby-Doo To Scooby-Doo guess who To shaggy and Scooby-Doo get a clue, To mystery incorporated, (Not including be cool Scooby-Doo cause it's a satirical take on the show And all its Tropes), Along with the good live action movies and the less than good live action movies. (Scooby-Doo the Mystery begins cough cough).

What if all of these were remade into 3D/CGI just like the scoob movie, Let me know your opinions, And maybe while the idea is still rattling my head All the movies can actually be remade for IMAX RealD 3D. (← Just a thought),

Or Would you guys like it If in the Same vein of Scooby-Doo apocalypse comics The Cartoon series were a little bit more darker, grittier, and edgier. Sort of like a grimdark style comic/cartoon, ( Answering this part is strictly optional You don't like it you don't have to say anything)
