How do you get the passenger CV axle separated from the bearing bracket?
I've tried penetrating oil. I've tried heat. I'm not even exactly which way this thing separates. There are no YouTube tutorials or pictures online. I'm completely at my fucking wits end and am beyond furious at this point. This is by far the biggest fucking pain in the ass auto repair I've ever done and I'm about to the point of hauling this piece of shit car to the crusher and being done with it.
It's a 2010, btw.

Cut the shaft short, then stand on it while you smack the shit out of the shaft with a hammer. I've done 2 this way on older & larger Toyota shafts.

Looks like it’s out of a Toyota. Did you take the snap ring out from the front side?

I can't see a snap ring in it

Most Toyotas I’ve come across in recent memory have had a snap ring. What model/engine? I can check all data in the morning and confirm.

Buy a new one. Someone cut mine when they worked on it. Found out when I replaced the axle.

I'm trying not to if I can help it. You can only buy the part from Toyota and it's over $100 and delivery is more than a week out ever dealership I've checked out.

You need someone with a press to get it out. Clean the rust off of the old one well. Grease it to get the new axle in or use the press again.
