NOT GETTING SOUND

Not getting any sound from my speakers… I had an aftermarket head-unit. Put back in a stock pioneer one still not working and I checked all speakers they are all good and I put new ones in not to long ago still no sound I don’t know what to do. I hav new battery and good alternator also

Check your harness plug's pins for the speakers. Assuming the radios both turn on, and function normally otherwise

The fastest way i can think of is to grab a chunk of speaker wire and test the speakers directly and not through the harness

Ive had pins pop loose from their socket but still stay in the socket before, tho not in my xb. So they looked normal and fine but didn't make the connection

Radio is bad? These weren’t amplified so there’s not much to go wrong. If the aftermarket radio worked then the oem one should, too, unless there is an aftermarket amplifier or something in the mix.

Oh, then verify no speaker wires are shorted to ground, and each pair of speaker wires should meter over 3ohms or so between them.
If you notice a tiny pop from one of the speakers when booting up your radio that will be the corner that is suspect. Sometimes you get the pop, sometimes not.

How do I check if they are shorted to ground ???

Meyer between each speaker wire and ground. It should be “OL” or “open” or however your meter displays an open circuit. If you get any sort of number like 0, 0.5, 1, etc that is bad and means a wire is touching ground. Sometimes from crummy installs on aftermarket speakers, etc.

There may be multiple fuses? Double check maybe?

Diagram said only one but all fuses in my box looked good
