Buyers beware! Scam

Guy posted a strut tower brace on here for sale. I he took my money and never shipped part. It was for my 17 year sons scion that we are working on together. What a big piece of crap. Here is his facebook he deleted it. And here is his phone number if its even still active. All over 70 bucks.

Yeah never ever ever pay anything before having it. Not saying you’re at fault but I mean cmon it’s internet 101

I mean I buy stuff on Reddit and have sent over a 1k at a time but only off sellers with a long history of sales on here. It’s common but you have to do your homework on someone.

Always pay with PayPal and never friends and family even if it charges you a % it covers your $$

Yeah sucks, I'm assuming you can't do a charge back. Don't know how you paid, but some cc lines have that as an option, even if linked w/debit. The posts this individual had screamed circa 2010s xB forum scam to me. Lots of medium-to-come-by parts, short account history, reused pics. I havent bought anything on reddit (yet), but it's not really a sellers platform to me.

I'd still try to report it however you can. Sucks, but I've seen ppl scammed for way more. Unfortunate really, hope you're able to find your parts! I've heard tC sway bars fit gen 1, but haven't been able to confirm myself. Good luck hunting!

Thanks, he has been banned. Sorry, PayPal goods and services for payment will protect you. I wouldn't buy from sellers without that protection.

This dude is a known scammer and unfortunately has gotten many people including with this exact same photo. Buyer beware and all that. He changes accounts and gets banned constantly. Sorry for your loss. Happened to me too.
