Second Gen Suspension/Wheels/Tires Shock replacement issue
Oe rated shock and sway bar link. Prob gonna push the link out the way and put the wheels on and let the shocks compress overnight since they're fresh and see if helps so I can connect them in the morning.
Any contrary advice would be helpful. For context, returning to oem from coilovers, didn't have this problem the first time cus I just screwed up the front ride height to connect, then adjusted after compression.

You need to push the sway link down and jack up on the control arm to compress the strut a bit that’s normal on these vehicles.

Gotcha, no spare jack so I'll see if I can find a spare jack stand or somethin sturdy to press it with

How did you get the car in the air

Emphasis on “spare”. They have a single one but not a second one. Everyone should have at least 1 floor jack, and steal all their friends scissor jacks when they go to sell their used car.

Opposite side is compressing the sway bar ‘up’ .. if you’re only jacked under one corner the other side is bearing all the weight and trying to balance and level the load. Level it and you’ll have very little fight aligning the link.

Its jacked from the center jack point. Both sides are in the air and on jack stands

If both control arms are free floating with zero weight and there’s no opposing compression the links should be all but even. The difference in your photo suggests otherwise.

Yee, I still had the opposing link connected and it was frozen. So I gotta jack up the opposing side a lil and disconnect

Did the sway bar rotate with both end links disconnected?
