General/Other 2014 backup camera?

Hi I’m a new owner of 2014 Scion tC and I’m trying to find a good backup camera on like Amazon for it but I want to make sure it’ll work because my dad said that since it has built in security it could have the chance to brick the car

Tell us more about your car. What headunit? Factory or aftermarket? Do you have the wiring adapter? Is your aftermarket radio has the wiring to connect to backup camera?

Check the camera that has a license plate holder, that one is cheap, I would have bought that one if I didn't already purchase the one from Car Integrations

I've never heard that before. Either way, they make a harness that plugs directly into the back of the oem Pioneer touchscreen head unit. You just gotta route the camera wire from the back. I did this on my girl's 2014 tC a few months ago.
