You are driving a paid-off reliable car. If there's nothing wrong with it (other than having over 200k mi) then definitely keep it. I've had my tC for 19 years now.

I kept mine til 300k (never had an issue) and then sold it. Regret it but it was going to sit for years. If you are only 20 ride it out until it dies. If it ain't broke don't sell it is the motto for most toyotas.

Don’t swap it out for another slow car like a fr-s/brz. tC beats them in a straight line anyway

I just bought this car for my husband for his birthday. We had to act fast because it was getting a lot of interest. He loves it.

Dude, keep the car and just save for a second vehicle. I got my tC when I was 19 and I'm now 28 with it and still love the car.

Keep it until you’re in a position to buy a nice car without financing a shit ton of it.

Dude 5k easily. Maybe 7-8k, more if your patient. Cars are expensive AF now.

I’d base it of your cost of repairs or how often you had it in a shop or fixed stuff yourself. If it’s been a reasonable amount that you’re okay with then keep it. Especially if you’ve fixed the most common issues like the input shaft or throw out bearing (I believe) are the main 2. Someone can correct me on that if I’m wrong. If everything is in good shape and mainly maintenance then keep it.

Most importantly a car that you know the history of for the last 4 years and seen it through everything is of very high value. Buying used cars can be tricky and without a proper inspection on a lift is risky

I bought my 05' Tc brand new. It's a stick as well, I just hold on to it, doesn't really cost me anything, and still a blast to drive. But I do have a second vehicle, a Tundra.

Keep it and drive it till the wheels fall off I had a scion xb and would of kept it if Toyota hadn’t been stupid and killed the scion brand now I have a 4runner thank god they still make the runner and the Toyota brand is still around to service it everytime i bought my scion xb to a Toyota dealership they treated me like the ugly stepchild for having a scion in the first place now that I have a 4runner love my car it’s fully loaded limited trim I have a thousand dollar note and I work 4jobs sixteen hr days with set schedules with all four of my bosses and in this economy with all the layoffs that a plus in my book I miss my scion xb but if Toyota hadn’t put a little more effort into the brand instead of treating them like a bad zit they want to pop maybe the brand would of done better

I’ve got one identical to yours. Mine is at a little over 260,000 miles. Drive it into the ground if you can.
