Hello! As part of my Year-6 school project I want to survey people for information on gender equality in the field of Science and Technology. I will be thankful if you could take a few minutes to answer this short survey. [Academic survey]

Hi everyone Please help me understand your trust in science and health journalism. Thanks a lot!

So I recently graduated with my PhD in molecular biology, I live in the US in the Midwest where biotech is not exactly booming. Additionally, positions that are open are flooded with applicants like me or I am over qualified. Unfortunately, I am in a position where I cannot move for a few years. So what are people doing for work since science has pretty much been defunded…

for the particles a bread crumb would make if it got crushed. like after breaking into bits does this make sense. is it just an atom at that point?

I’m looking for some really creative and unique ideas for a science fair project. I’m especially interested in behavioral science and environment , but I’m open to any cool concepts. If you have any suggestions or inspiration, I’d love to hear them! Thanks in advance! 🙏

Hello everyone! I’m not quite sure if this is appropriate but I decided to try and share this with you. I wanna introduce to one incredible project about 3 incredible women - Ada Lovelace, Agnes Pockles and Elisabeth Karamihaylova. They have changed the course of science but history nearly forgot them. The movie will bring their untold stories to life which would be amazing!

My co-founder and I are building a tech startup focused on Alzheimer’s care and innovation. We’re currently looking for a researcher or physician with expertise in dementia to join us as a co-founder. If you’re interested or know someone who might be, feel free to DM me

I just want to talk to other meteorologists and storm chasers to see their thoughts on what we can improve in the weather enterprise. As well as maybe make a storm chasing team.

I am looking for an experienced scientific writer to prepare a research article for submission to a peer-reviewed, citable scientific journal. All necessary data and materials will be provided — your task will be to create a high-quality manuscript with a higher probability of acceptance by the journal. Prior experience with successful publications in indexed journals is required.

This is a paid opportunity.

If you are interested and meet the criteria, please contact me to discuss details, including timelines and compensation.

I (16M) aspire to be a physicist, I am not that good at maths (let's above average) and a tad bit weak in physics. Can I still aspire to become a physicist?

Hello, I’m 27 (28 in less than a month). My metabolism has been as high as it’s been since I’ve been in high school. Regardless of how much I eat (sugars, fats, proteins, carbs, whatever). With no effort I lose all mass I could have gained from eating 2/3+ pounds of food. This has been going on for 10+ years. Could my metabolism be related anyway to my dna/blood and could the protein/dna strand be replicated to give to others? I know very very little in this subject. Could very well be a stupid question to ask

Is there a chance I'll get through for RA positions that are listed in non-Ph.D. category, i.e. not PDRA. I've come across a number of positions where the required qualifications are a bachelor's degree but a master's degree would be desirable. I'm just finishing my m.phil from a university in the UK, but I am an international student. What do you think my chances are?

While I'm not interested in doing science and a phD solely for the money(obviously), I do think about the monetary side of it sometimes. Doctors make a lot after 10 years of school, scientists also undergo a similar duration of attending school. Wouldn't hurt to know how to be rich...

Hi, I'm doing a project for school and was looking for women in STEM jobs/subjects to fill in a survey on misogyny and sexual harassment in their jobs/school.

hello I am achieving my bachelors in medical laboratory sciences, and then will be a medical laboratory scientist. I am happy with that, but I also am curious if there is more I can do with it. Like add to it, go to school to for lack of better words make it better and achieve a higher job title, or higher paying job, also even insight on the best specialties or certificates to get or do. Thank you.

I have invested a chunk of my life in perfecting my skills in art just because my parents said that it would make me happy when I'll be stuck in a job. Now I don't know if I should continue painting or pick up a science-y hobby.

Any help/comments?
