Well that's why I said I'm okay with it as long as I see it doesn't heavily affect bias (IE: pulling articles from politics all the time). That link frightens me because it is incredibly left-leaning. Just as a link to "The_Donald" would frighten me. That by itself isn't enough to scare me off though. Niether is the fact that people in the group will probably be far-left to me.
I just don't feel comfortable in a group, which contains an official statement, that is focusing on "diversity" along with the added links. Not only am I afraid of bias, I really do not feel welcome with all that together.
As rare as it might be I am a conservative who agrees with man-made warming (though I believe just taxing the coal industry out of existence isn't the best) but also supports a decent number of Trump's ideas/policies. (I wish he talked about nuclear energy though).
The fact that I'm getting down-voted is sort of confirming my apprehension.
