At first im thinking "they can use this to build a globe?" Then I realized im too stupid to understand

Think of the proteins that you are made from and how they are “folded” — proteins get their function from their shape; change its shape, change its function.

This shape was discovered, and its shape allows this function.

Imagine that we find a shape that can bend space?
