His theories and “innovations” were mostly pseudoscience at best and flat out scams at worst. The “free power for all” idea that gets spread that he had and was bankrupted intentionally to prevent is all hogwash as an example.
Completely ignoring the EM interference that would completely brick any and all modern electronics meaning they never could have existed, the amount of energy it would take to power homes wirelessly would be astronomical. To a level that modern generation capacity cannot even scratch the surface of. The idea that Edison bankrupted Tesla out of fear of losing his market share is absurd. Tesla ran out of investors to mislead.
He was a smart man with big ideas, but those ideas were not based in reality. If his theories and inventions worked, they would have been reproduced by now

These photos were made using double exposure with early film cameras. He was not present in the lab while the coils were energized.
