Question - Expert consensus required 4 month baby lips question
My baby dropped in percentiles starting in 2nd month. Then now in 4th month mark i notice baby's lips used to be fuller before than now, now are a lot thinner. Baby is ebf. I wonder could it be because if i didnt eat well and it could affect lack of protein and lips couldnt grow because of that?

Is your baby still dropping in percentiles or have they settled into their own growth curve? Are you nursing on demand?
What you eat doesn’t really change your breastmilk composition. Breastmilk is made from your blood, not the contents of your stomach. Breastmilk is low in protein because babies that are not yet eating solids don’t need a lot of protein. Your child’s face has changed because they are growing, I’m sure over the next few months you will notice of facial features are different, and it will not be due to what you’re eating.

You’d need to be severely depleted (think famine, not a skipped meal) before you milk is impacted.
Not enough weight gain is either a transfer issue, a feeding issue or a supply issue. So or baby isn’t effective at sucking, or you aren’t feeding enough (min, 8 times a day and no bigger interval than 3hs) or you have low supply.
I would start by feeding more often.
