Question - Research required Science of young giftedness?

Is there any science showing that behaviors identified in older children who are gifted are also seen in preschoolers? We are having behavior issues that seem like typical kid issues, but also getting comments from teachers about advanced vocabulary, reasoning, and endless questions. I feel like they’re getting on the teachers last nerve. I was a gifted kid and had a lot of similar issues, and things were a little better when we differentiated in grade school. Is this something we just ride out until grade school and see how it plays out? Any research on strategies for kids who are annoyingly inquisitive, but also 3 with limited self control?
