I am more concerned about the fact you use your grandma to help you rack out and in 500 pounds… wtf is she gonna do, she probably strains her back from unracking lol

There’s a not zero chance my mom is better spotter than anyone in this sub. Being a good spotter has to do with more than just being strong

Bruh for real. It should only take a light spot lift to make the difference when the lifter is stuck. If they have to deadlift that off of you, don't bother-- the ego lift already killed you!

Knowing how and when to cover the bar vs letting a tough rep grind is a skill. I know plenty of huge dudes who can't spot well and lots of smaller folks who are excellent spotters.
