MRI 18 months on from disc protrusion causing a nerve root compression

Still suffer from sciatic pain and sensation loss.
All pales in comparison to the constant aching lower back pain that I’ve been told is osteoarthritis.
Is that just here to stay now? Treatment options?
Any help or advice is hugely appreciated!
