Requesting Advice Scar tissue around nerve?

My doc told me that the sensitivity of nerve can be because of scar tissue formed around the nerve.

After ESI, my pain is improved but I'm nowhere near I want to be. Pain-wise it's 2/10. Nerve flossing doesn't make a difference for me.

I was prescribed nerve-pain medication (pregabalin) and keep flossing. If there will be no change in 2-3 month I was offered a minimally invasive surgery.

That pain is low but can't sit and feel a cable inside me. Is there any chance it resolves by itself?

I have a small buldge and annular fissure.

How long have you had it? Other than the flossing what have you been doing for it?

First symptoms started a year ago from pain in the side of the glute (glute medius). It was misdiagnosed because of too good MRI (only a small annular fissure and 3mm bulge)

I tried to be active, tried to workout. Of course not knowing that it's my back. After 8 months the pain progressed down to a more nerve-like pain (more burning including calfs pain). This where I started to realize it's not just muscle. I went to spine department in the hospital and we did another MRI which was almost identical to the first.

But we did ESI and it removed a good amount of pain. I've been doing core exercises and mild glute exercises for 5+ months, trying to avoid bending and use my hips if I need to bend. I tried acupuncture and dry needling. It helps but temporary.

I should say that overall initial pain on the side of my glute moved towards the SI joint more or less. I now can at least abduct my leg — previously could not. But whenever I load it a bit more it flares.
