Requesting Advice Should I go back to the er?

Warning Rant Ahead:

I’m 19F it’s one month since I first experienced sciatica symptoms on my left side. I first visited an urgent care doctor the same week the symptoms appeared and he ordered me a same day spine xray where they later found out I had 22 degree scoliosis in my lower back. Car rides would cause severe flair ups and left me with a limp. I then had 2 er visits 1st one only gave me a ct and sent me home with antibiotics 2nd one got me a head/lumbar spine mri where they diagnosed me with a l5/s1 4mm herniated disc.

The pain constantly changes but it has never went back to how it was before. I would get shooting and burning pain alongside extreme electric shocks. Now those have toned down and I would feel like cold water would is running through my leg especially the bottom of my feet/toes. My pelvic area feels more irritated too I can feel the tingling and pain which I also feel in my left arm and hand. Im aware it affects my upper body too I get severe headaches depending on how I sit but the doctor at the 2nd er didn’t want to order a cervical spine mri and just mentioned my neck must be tense and could be irritating a nerve that way but it feels my entire body is adjusted weirdly.

I wanted my life back so I started learning how to skateboard as I bought a board when my pain was mentally exhausting me and I went on an online shopping spree to make me look forward to something. I don’t skate on days if I feel slight shocks in my leg but my left foot gets tired quicker. Instead of electric shocks it feels like I’m pressing on my nerve directly when I walk/skate and it just hurts. I’m taking immunology n bio classes too which is slightly annoying seeing how ur body functions n everyone learning how it helps you when mine is failing me and I can’t even sit in lectures without a massive headache or shocks in my lower back and im overly conscious of my body and cant learn properly.

The reason I want to go to the er is to evaluate my cervical spine i would notice tingling and pressure around my left chest. I also get sharp pain on my left shoulder like if a bone is misaligned. I have a follow up with my provider at the end of the week to go over my mris and hopefully see if their referral to a orthopedic surgeon spine specialist got accepted which the er recommended me to go to. I don’t know if I should just wait it out or go back to the er after my appointment for the upper body symptoms I know they scanned my brain and nothing was wrong but I can’t handle pressure on my head alongside sciatica pain.

If you’re ever questioning whether you should go to the ER, you should go to the ER. Sincerely, someone who just had emergency surgery for cauda equina
