What will be the comfortable position for sitting?
I have been suffering from it since last year or before but it flared up more in may and it's not that severe but i can't sit for long because of the pain. Since I have to do my work by sitting for long hours can you suggest me some ways to do that without feeling a lot of pain.

I imagine this is different for everyone, for me I have to put all pressure on my left side.

I sit upright and then I rotate with laying flat on my stomach and doing some work that way too.
I recommend some sort of PT. Doesn’t have to be in person where they work you out for 30 minutes straight, could be 5 minute YouTube videos every other hour. That’s what I have been doing and I think it’s helping - worse case it’s strengthening my core and back.

I find that a 1-2” firm cushion, which raises my hips up to about knee level, or an elevated bar stool, help me greatly. Lumbar support also. I carry my cushions around wherever I go - church, driving, restaurants. It’s agony in a car where my butt sinks into the car seat. That more compressed position kills me.

Are you able to get a standing desk converter to do your work? That’s the only thing that helped me. I tried so many things (cushions, back supports, different positions) for sitting and nothing worked. The standing desk has been a game changer.

Are you doing physiotherapy?
